Wigton Cemetery is one step closer to having the entrance improved and widened to allow for better access. The Fells and Solway Community Panel kindly granted £4000 towards the cost of the  works after an application for funding was submitted to them and a contractor has been chosen to undertake the works.

It is hoped work will start around the end of August to the beginning of September but updates will be posted here.
