Wigton has a wonderful Heritage Trail that takes approximately 60-90 minutes to walk.
Newly created blue plaques were installed in April 2022 using funding from Allerdale Borough Council’s Welcome Back Fund.
You can pick up a copy of the route from the Community Offices at Market Hall, Wigton Library and other locations in town.
